Long known for their speakers, Jamo has introduced a stylish line of electronics. The Jamo AVR series comes in two flavors, the AVR-693 and AVR-793, the 793 is a 7.1 DTS, Pro-Logic IIx receiver, rated at 135 watts per channel at 6 ohms. While the AVR-693 supports Dolby Digital 6.1 and in rated at 120 watts at 6 ohms. Both units display the current surround mode information on the front panel display.

Additionally both receivers have a full complement of digital inputs as well as support component vuideo switching. A matching DVD player is also available, the DVD-593 supports PAL and NTSC as well as DiVx (the equivalent of MP3 for movies) discs, making one of the more versatile DVD players on the market.
